My Hometown

            Well, my hometown is Painan, South Pesisir, West Sumatera, Indonesia. It is around 75 kilometers from Padang, West Sumatera.

            The weather is good over there. In the morning the weather is cool and fresh but not for in the middle of the day. It is hot but still windy. At midnight, the weather will change to be cold.

            Painan is interesting city in South Pesisir because there are many tourism objects in Painan such as Carocok beach, Cingkuak Island, Hill Langkisau and many others. Many visitors visit that place to take a vacation or just enjoy the view. It is really beautiful.

       Carocok beach is a beautiful beach in Painan. Beach is located around one-two kilometers from Painan market. It has white sand, beautiful fish and coral, sloping beach. The scenery around the beach is also beautiful. You can see the hills surround the beach. It is really a nice place to take picture. The sunset is the most beautiful event in Carocok beach, so do not miss it.

           The visitors can do many various activities over there such as swimming, fishing, snorkeling, sunbathe, surfing. Sometimes they do diving to see the beauty of coral reefs. The children could make a palace from the sand and picking up the seashell on the seashore.  You can enjoy your self with the activities over there.

Cingkuak Island

         Cingkuak Island is a small beautiful island in Carocok beach. The located is across the beach. Visitors can across the beach if the ebb or they can use a small boat to reach the island. According to me, it is a nice island because it has beautiful scenery. Beside, it has white and clean sand and sloping beach. Visitors can collect some unique seashells and snails. It is also the nice place to take a picture.

          Hill Langkisau is also the interesting tourism object in Painan. Hill located is not too far from Carocok beach. The most interesting activity in Hill Langkisau is playing hand gliding. Start from the top of the hill and landed on the beach. From the top of the hill, you can see panoramic blue oceans and feel the hill wind. You can also see Painan city almost all. It is so wonderful.
